Flexiform successfully completed the full design and refit of the Arup, Solihull based office. Flexiform begins working with this multinational design and engineering services firm Arup in 2014; with the brief to refit their Solihull based office. The Arup Campus, which hosts over 700 employees, is a contemporary and sustainable working environment, requiring visually striking desking to match the company’s multidisciplinary approach to business.
In order to meet these client specific needs and create a flagship workspace for the Arup Group, Flexiform provided Pico desking, developed to include bespoke modesty panels at the end of each desk. After supplying desks in the Arup Campus, Flexiform will also be providing further office furniture across the Arup Group’s offices over the coming years.
“Phil Roberts has been my Account Manager and together we have scoped out the refurbishments. This process has always worked really well and to date, everything has gone smoothly. Lucie Carr has always produced accurate drawing, turned round my amendments to drawings very quickly and provided me with different options when asked.However, it is the onsite furniture installing team I really want to commend. Kenny Cowley has been the Site Manager for I think all of the 5 major projects that we have undergone over the last 18 months. We now plan the works together to ensure that we allocate the correct time to the project. This works really well as he understands the time it takes for different types of furniture to be installed and I can give feedback on how it effects the running of the office. This planning ahead saves a lot of headaches whilst on-site! Once on-site the installation team work really well together, they are an excellent bunch of guys and work very well as a team. Each of them is willing to jump to help a colleague or me. This is so refreshing as quite often they want to do as little a possible!
